Humantay Lake
This trek allows to explore and enjoy wonderful landscapes, observe the magnificence of the snowy Salkantay, enjoying the crystalline turquoise ater of the lagoon is located at the foot of the imposing snow capped mountains of Salkantay and Humantay that is sorrounded by a unique scenery.
Itinerary
Pick up from the hotel at 4:30 a.m , we’ll start our trip to the northeast of Cusco, we will descend and arrive to Mollepata, here we will enjoy a typical breakfast. Then continue our trip by car to Soraypampa (3900 m.s.n.m). From here we start our hike to Humantay lake located at 4200 m.s.n.m, after one hour and 30 minutes approximately, we can appreciate this wonderful place , visit the lagoon for about two hours and return to Soraypampa to have lunch and rest. Around 3:30 p.m . we will return to Cusco.
